SHAYNA YASUHARA
Shayna Yasuhara is a San Francisco-based creator focused on animation and music videos.
Influenced by the early days of MTV bumpers, Pee Wee's Playhouse, and Terry Gilliam, Shayna has become obsessed with art that’s more on the wabi sabi side, and less overly polished, commercial, or clean in its aesthetic.
She has also been actively involved in the local arts community, first in Boston and now in San Francisco, for over ten years.
Recent animation projects have included the intro and intermission segments of the pilot episode of SF-based comedy TV show “Shaky Ground” with Broke Ass Stuart. As well as, a music video short for The Residents and “Get it Right Now” the official music video for the Tambo Rays—both of which were screened at the Out of Focus Music Video Festival at the New Parkway Theater, Oakland.
As a freelance motion designer, animator, and everyday creator living in San Francisco…Shayna is ready to do some work!
